Buck's Bar, Austinburg [Easy to get to, just off freeway! I-90 to Rt 45 exit, go SOUTH about 1/4 mile, on left.] Big patio, big restaurant and full bar. Unusual food items: Alligator, buffalo! Really! Nice new building, entertaining dining. Usually 7:00 - 11
Cabanas Island Restaurant 8500 Station St, Mentor, 255-0697 Very tropical theme, patio in the summer.
Candlelight Winery Just east of Garretsville. [from downtown Garrettsville, take Center Street east about 2 mi] Very friendly, fun place. Excellent wine. Limited food - cheese and crackers, etc., or bring your own food items. Usually 7:00 - 10:00. New place, with great quality wine and nice atmosphere. Outside deck in the summer. 330 527-4118
Chalet DeBonne Winery A fun place, dancing, great wine, limited menu. [I-90, Rt 528 south, 1 mile, over large bridge, first left Doty/Griswald Rd, follow the signs] Usually 7:00 - 11.Nice dance floor, beautiful outdoor setting in the summer! NEW! Brewery added.

Katie's Pub in Painesville 1272 Mentor Ave, 354-6393 (close to Painesville shopping center, fairgrounds, Pizza Hut, railroad crossing) A rockin place! They love all music! Anything from James Taylor to Jethro Tull to Jimi Hendrix will be requested at this place.
Hickory Lake Inn, Newbury Fun restaurant, full bar. [From I-90, Rt.44 SOUTH thru Chardon, look for Bass Lake Rd, turn RIGHT. Bass Lake continues south, crosses Rt.322, crosses Butternut, at BIG LEFT TURN, take a RIGHT on STONE Rd, 200 yards, on RIGHT]
Laurello's Winery [Rt. 534 south of I-90. Hang a left on Rt. 307] Very pleasant, comfortable winery. Friendly people! Small dance floor. Outside on patio in summer, with beautiful sunsets! Usually 7:00 - 10:00.
The Lodge and Conference Center at Geneva State Park [Geneva-on-the-Lake] [ 440-466-7100] Beautiful new hotel overlooking Lake Erie. Fine dining in awesome restaurant. Tom plays in lounge. Get a room, stay for the weekend! Hours: usually 7 - 11.
Medvec's Bar and Grill, Madison, Rt. 528, just about 2 miles south of I-90. Food, full bar, local wines! A fun, friendly place. A place where Tom can play more rock, blues, as well as all his other styles! usually 9 - 1
Old Firehouse Winery A beautiful outdoor view of Lake Erie, a new stage(!), right near the amusement area of Geneva-on-the-Lake Specializing in Mexican type food, also steaks, etc. [Take Rt 534 north (from I-90 or Rt.20, Geneva) to the lake.The road curves east, and the Old Firehouse Winery is on the left (lake) side.] [usually 8:00 - 12:00] On cool nights, dress warmly!
Old Mill Winery, Geneva Great menu (inexpensive), great wine. Music Fri, Sat nights, and Sunday afternoons they have OPEN MIC, where everyone is invited to sing or play, etc. Lots of FUN! OPEN MICS are 4:30 - 7:30 [Take I-90 toward Geneva, exit on Rt. 534, go north about 3 miles. (Go past Rt. 84, to first set of RR tracks, winery is right by RR tracks. Or, just a few blocks SOUTH of intersection of Rt. 534 and Rt. 20)]
Pipers Three Restaurant, 8158 Broadview Rd, Broadview Hts. 440-526-5454 [from I-77 going south, south of I-480, Wallings Rd exit, go west (right) about 1-2 miles, turn left (south) at Broadview Rd, restaurant is immediately on right.] Nice dance floor, very cozy pleasant lounge, nice restaurant. 7 – 10:30 on Thursdays, 8 – 12 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Reunions Pub, Canton 5153 W. Tuscarawas, Canton 330 478-5550. Nice, new sports bar, good varied menu, tropical themed. Music on Thursdays and Saturdays, usually single or duo acts, with tropical theme. [directions from Cleveland: take I-77 south through Akron, stay on I-77, into Canton. Exit at Tuscarawas, turn RIGHT or WEST, go about 3 miles. In shopping plaza near Marc's near intersection of Perry Drive.]
Sammy K's [the old Tavern of Perry, Antioch Inn] on Rt.20 at Antioch Rd, Perry 259-3799 (4706 North Ridge Rd, 44081) Excellent food, full bar, homemade pizza's, dancing.
Seekers Coffeehouse 9443 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, Ohio 44060, (440) 255-JAVA (5282). This great new coffeehouse is built for entertainment! There is a beautiful, professional stage and nice seating. There are various music shows almost every day! Monday night open mics, Wednesday noon lunch shows, Fri and Sat night shows, etc. Owner/proprietor Julie Slattery is well known in this area as a great singer and musician. She was in "Lip'n'Fingers" with Tom Todd, and she sang backup vocals on Tom's CDs. Seekers® Mentor is open from 6am to 11pm Monday through Friday, 8am through 11pm Saturday, 10am to 6pm on Sunday. They also have a nice selection of sandwiches, desserts and, of course, coffees!!!
Vittorio's Restaurant 29664 Euclid Ave, Wickliffe, 44092 440 585-7700 Very fine dining, dance floor. Quieter music, lots of oldies. Usually 1st Tuesday of month, 6:00 - 9:00
